Woman in meditation

Namaste, I'm Elaine and I'm here to help you on your healing journey.

I came to yoga 20 years ago and dabbled on and off, but it wasn't until I came to it for stress and anxiety relief from my day job that I really began to understand what yoga is.

You may not realise that Yoga means union, and is far from limited to the postures. there is a whole philosophy with many ways you can practice yoga from breathing exercises, cleansing routines and self-study.

So this union is of body, mind and breath - working together for your wellbeing.

You may see insta-yogis and think that you're not flexible or slim enough to do yoga, but this is where the misconception ends. RIGHT HERE.

Yoga is for everyBODY.

It is not about who can get into the most extreme inversion or about touching your toes. That said, with regular practice you could achieve this.

As much as I'd love to be able to, I can't do the splits. And I have stiff days. And some days I might not have the energy to practice, but did you know that even lying on the floor with your legs up the wall is still yoga?

It's that mindful connection that you may often miss with today's busy lifestyles.

Finding that cosy space of stillness within you.

THAT is yoga.

And anyone can do it.

I used to teach in primary schools and noticed huge changes in wellbeing when delivering mindfulness to the students on a daily basis. Some of these children had Special Educational Needs, othwereers  vulnerable. When I saw the effect of mindfulness and meditation, I really wanted to learn more about bringing it to adults too.

That's why I embarked on my training and seem to bring wellness to all who are called to something different and nurturing.

Elaine is a 200 hr Registered Yoga Teacher, Children's Yoga Teacher, Gong Practitioner, and Mindful Nutrition Coach.

A lover of nature and the sea, she encourages her students to find their connection with nature and experience its positive effects on wellbeing.

She lives in Mortimer, Berkshire, UK with her family of three.
